     The minute books of Tignish Fisheries. which are 
     
     available on microfilm. are an important source for this chapter. 
     
     The Saint Thomas Aquinas Society has commemorated its 
     
     seventy-fifth anniversary by a souvenir booklet, which is an 
     
     important source — indeed. the only one - for its activities up to 
     
     1994. Most of the rest of the information used here can be found 
     
     in books mentioned in previous source notes: however. the 
     
     interesting subject of the mutual insurance societies can best 
     
     be traced in the files of L'lmparrial, as there seems to be no
