In 1927 a new manse was built at Elmsdale. The carpenter was John Nobel Ladner and he was assisted by several men in the charge. The manse was sold in 1972 to Merrill Wallace.

In 1932, Rev. J. A. Nicholson paid $1.00 for gas for coming from Bedeque to preach at a preparatory

service. . In 1932 the church was moved back from the road

to its present location by John Owen Gordon, Alma, with horse and capstan. Extensive repairs were done on the church. The porch was taken off and the choir loft, entry, and tower were built on. Wages at that time were $12.00 a week for carpenter and $9.00 a week for helpers. The carpenter in charge of the repairs was George Adams! Elmsdale.

Another change took place in the history of the church when the new Alberton— Elmsdale Pastoral Charge was formed. The Inaugeration.Servicc was held on July 6, 1969 with Rev. Bruce Roberts as guest speaker.

V In 1974 a new ceiling was installed and the walls in the main church were panelled.

In 1955 anew piano was‘ purchased. bytthe Young _Peoples Group.

In 1977 a new carpet was laid.

In 1978 a new electric organ was purchased.

In 1979, 50 stacking chairs were purchased.,

In 1980, the entries of the Church were panelled and the main porch refinished. .

In 1981, a new hot air furnace and additional heating vents were installed as a_gift.
