Sec. 6. Everyone is guilty of an offence and liable to a penalty of not exceeding $50.00 and not less than $10.00, who :
(a). Hunts, shoots, wounds, kills or destroys any wild goose, brant, teal or black duck between one hour after sunset and one hour before sunrise next morning, or with the assistance of any light or lights.
(b). Uses or attempts to use a rifle within the Province for the pur- pose of hunting game birds.
(c). Places out poison or poisoned bait for foxes or any other animals.
OFFENCES DURING THE OPEN SEASON.
Sec. 7. Everyone is guilty of an offence and liable to a penalty of not exceeding $25.00 and not less than $5.00 who shoots 0r lays in wait to shoot any woodcock or snipe between sunset and sunrise next morning.
Sec. 8. Everyone not being a permanent resident of Prince Edward Island who hunts or shoots, or attempts to hunt or shoot, any game without having first procured a game license, as in this Act referred to, is liable to a penalty of $50.00.
Sec. 9. Everyone being the holder of a game license and being in pursuit of game who neglects or refuses to permit the examination thereof when required or requested to do so by any game warden or constable is guilty of an offence and liable to a penalty of not exceed- ing $25.00 nor less than $5.00.
The license fees for non-residents are :——To shoot game, $15.00. To trap fur-bearing animals, $50.00.
Sec. 12. The killing, taking, having. or vending, contrary to the provisions of this Act, of each several bird, animal or egg shall be deemed to constitute a separate offence against the provisions ofthis Act. '
Sec. 15. The game inspector is hereby authorized and empowered to seize on sight and confiscate to His Majesty for the uses of the Pro- vince :
(a). Any game being exported or attempted to be exported in viola— tion of the provisions of this Act, or which there is any reasonable cause to suspect is intended to be exported.
(b). Any game or the eggs of game birds which may, during the close season for the class of game so seized, be found in the possession of any person contrary to the provisions of this Act.
(c). Any lights, lanterns, punt or swivel guns, rifles, sneak-boats, snares, traps or other things that are found being used in violation of the provisions of this Act.
